Naught shores
written by Randal Moldrich |
I don't believe in everybody
I don't believe in sacred writing
I can't believe that you're long gone
When fuck knows we need you here
I don't believe in quick fixes
Turn around you've gone the wrong way
Too proud to take the hard way
You'll see you've gone the wrong way
Too coward to make your own way
All the world has seen it fakin'
Feel it, taken love away
The sand is always soft
Beaching on naught shores
Sand ain't always land
On forever shores
And you take off to exotic locations
Thinking you can escape what makes it
But you only take your sufferin'
And spread it far and wide
The world is sufferin' from sufferin'
But escaping won't bring peace
You need to take your courage
And turn into the real wind.
The sand is always soft
Beaching on naught shores
Sand ain't always land
On forever shores
Turn around you've gone the wrong way
Too proud to take the hard way
You'll see you've gone the wrong way
Too coward to make your own way
All the world has seen it fakin'
Feel it, taken love away
Sure, the world lives on credit
And the planets are just down the road
A gossip of lost Babylon
Up a tree or up in smoke
The sand is always soft
Beaching on naught shores
Sand ain't always land
On forever shores
Turn around you've gone the wrong way
Too proud to take the hard way
You'll see you've gone the wrong way
Too coward to make your own way
All the world has seen it fakin'
Feel it, taken love away [repeat]
